What is a computer support assistant?

Computer Support Assistants are professionals who provide technical support and assistance to users experiencing issues with computer hardware, software, or network systems. A Computer Support Assistant needs a strong understanding of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and basic networking, usually supported by a relevant associate degree or IT certifications like CompTIA A+.
