Hiring Rate: $25.38- $31.73
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Pro-rated based on hours/week.

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) was founded as a 501(c) (3) non-profit medical institution in 2005 aimed at increasing access to health care in medically underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest.
The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Dental Medicine, Master of Biomedical Sciences, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy enrolling over 550 students annually. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities adds another 100 students to the population. The campus includes 300 employees with academic programming spread over a five-state region.
PNWU is located in Yakima, WA, a city of approximately 95,000 located in the south-central part of the state near the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains in a major agricultural and outdoor recreation region. General Summary:
Manages, coordinates, and performs complex administrative duties in support of an executive level position. Manages payroll and budgets, time and attendance and arranges travel and events, and manages projects and contracts. Serves as a point of contact with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinates continuing education and accreditation activities. Generates reports and databases. Supports committees and assists with meetings. Assists with assessments. Mentors and trains administrative support staff.
Essential Job Functions:
โ€ข Completes complex administrative tasks in support of a PNWU department or program. Responsible for scheduling, manages communications via mail, email, and phone.
โ€ข Facilitates development of policies and procedures.
โ€ข Assists with Human Resources tasks, including payroll, training, and onboarding. Mentors and trains administrative staff. Develops and implements workflows.
โ€ข Coordinates education related activities, including Continuing Education and accreditation.
โ€ข Supports committees and meetings with scheduling, recording minutes, and transcribing. Represents executives at meetings when necessary.
โ€ข Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
