Emerson is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead analytical initiatives that support pricing, product management, operational planning, and strategic market opportunities across our business units. In this senior role, you will provide advanced analytical expertise, guide data quality improvements, enhance self-service analytics tools, and partner with global stakeholders to create high-impact reporting and insights.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead the acquisition, analysis, and visualization of complex datasets to support informed decisions on pricing strategies, product performance, customer behavior, and market opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance executive-level reporting for sales, orders, quotes, pricing performance, and key business metrics.
  • Investigate reporting discrepancies by partnering with global business users to identify root causes and improve data accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement of self-service analytics tools used across the organization.
  • Design and maintain scalable data models and datasets that provide business users with reliable, easy-to-use insights.
  • Evaluate and implement modern AI-powered capabilities that improve data quality, searchability, and the overall analytics user experience.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from SQL databases to identify trends and deliver actionable business recommendations.
  • Partner with business teams to identify and resolve data quality issues through process improvements, documentation, and user training.

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong SQL experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Proficiency with Python, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights and actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting global stakeholders.
