Interventionist - High School (Math/Science Focus)
Job Summary:
Teaching High School Intervention



R5 is a project-based, alternative high school which may require additional duties to fulfill instructional facilitation, planning, and attending activities with learners. Along with teaching Math and Science through projects, the educator will also facilitate an advisory caseload of learners as a life coach/mentor on a daily basis. R5 has a highly collaborative and creative team seeking to support the highest at-risk learners in the Grand Valley. 

This position will also offer computer science, math and business courses through project based learning
Qualifications:
Must have or be eligible for Colorado Teaching License with Secondary Endorsement
Working Conditions:
188 days/year

Position is posted to internal transfers for a minimum of seven (7) calendar days or open until filled.  
Salary & Benefits:
Teacher Base Pay Salary Schedule Range:
$50,765 - $105,998 based on one (1) FTE at one hundred eighty eight (188) days.
Hiring Range for External Candidates:
$50,765 - $87,145 
*Teachers are initially placed according to experience. Teachers new to the District may be granted up to 15 years of experience, provided the experience occurred within the last 20 years in accordance with the MVEA Agreement.
