Job description

Responsible for providing business expertise and direction for best practices using our systems across the overall business value chain. Partners with Business Owners to lead the design of new future-state processes leveraging industry best practice processes and system application capabilities needed to optimize business results. This includes understanding of existing business processes, defining requirements for continued optimization and future changes, evaluating gaps, and working with system application consultants to find solutions.


  • Leads project assignments and takes responsibility for business process development outcomes.
  • Works with industry to develop standards and bring best practices to Cirrus.
  • Provides mentoring inside and outside the department.
  • Lead and facilitate the definition and implementation of an optimum end-to-end process, data and KPI's leveraging industry best practices and systems applications solution for the specified process area.
  • Provide functional expertise and guide solution design to ensure successful and planned business outcomes.
  • Conduct workshops and work with Business Function Leads and/or representatives from other areas to ensure seamless integration with their processes.
  • Collaborates with other functional team members to develop common/global processes where possible, while ensuring regional and local needs are also met.
  • Identify gaps, evaluate, and provide alternative solutions and recommendations and works with business owners and team members to determine a satisfactory approach.
  • Identify improvements and implement solutions to provide better handoffs between upstream and downstream customers throughout the entire business value chain.
  • Lead and facilitate the delivery of Project Deliverables required to ensure an effectively integrated collection of system applications across the business.
  • Lead development, review, and approval of requirements for integrated system applications.
  • Lead development, review, and approval of reporting, KPIs, and analytics.
  • Participates in development of requirements for legacy system conversion to the new system applications, including data mapping. Working closely with the data team to ensure that requirements are met.
  • Supports data quality/cleansing efforts.
  • Participates in the analysis and design of any necessary modification; works closely with development team members on development testing and implementation of the necessary modification.
  • Leads requirements documentation, development of testing plans and scenarios, test execution and results tracking. Ensuring that all aspects of system functions are fully tested through all phases.
  • Participates in the development and documentation of security requirements for all users.
  • Assist with ensuring business units are ready for system applications testing and migrations.
  • Leads training requirements definition, authoring, and testing.
  • Works with the Change Management team and functional team members to develop comprehensive change management plan including user documentation.
  • Work in collaboration with business owners and leaders to provide ongoing review and support of current and future state business processes and delivered business solution.
  • Conduct post implementation audits.
  • Continue to identify optimization opportunities for processes and system application usage.
  • Support issue/incident resolution.
  • Provide support for assessment and requirements for business requested changes.
  • Bridges the gap between IT and the business to help prioritize and communicate system updates, and upgrades; as well as investigate. new systems that the business can benefit from.
  • Act as subject matter experts on system functionality to influence key business decisions.
  • Owns necessary business process standards

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree with business, computer science, information systems, business analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years demonstrated experience preferred
  • Experience with PLM, ERP and MES software, Windchill and Solumina preferred
  • Cirrus Manufacturing background preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in process analysis and mapping of assigned process area
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
