Job Summary
The I.S. Supervisor will perform a variety of complex tasks related to providing support for desktop; server; and network environments.
Duties
  • Assigns duties to employees and directs work flow
  • Routinely inspects quality of work by employees assigned to complete maintenance tasks
  • Assists employees with time management, job scheduling and follow up on completion
  • Assist IT Director with time cards when needed
  • Install, upgrade, and support Server and Computer hardware/software
  • Assist with planning and implementation of IT projects as directed
  • Analyze system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on operating system and hardware to detect problems
  • Initiate preventive maintenance on systems and be capable of repairing issues as they arise
  • Strong experience with enterprise networking solutions including WAN, LAN, Wireless and VPN technologies
  • Administers and supports Hospital Active Directory Domain, including subnets, DHCP Scopes, DNS, Secure network VLANS, and Group Policies
  • Assists Exchange Administrator for the Hospital's overall Intranet, and Internet, e-mail services
  • Performs network troubleshooting to diagnose complex network problems, identifies and replaces malfunctioning and inoperative equipment, performs preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Develops, installs and maintains backup and recovery procedures for various network databases
  • Works with I.S. Staff in development of education necessary to ensure progressive support of Hospital Network and associated devices
  • Network Security and anti-virus applications and web development applications
  • Works with outside Business Partners to establish secure connectivity for data transfer and data access
  • Collaborate with vendors as directed
  • Mentor others in the performance of their job duties where applicable
  • Communicate effectively with all contacts
  • Accept and adapt easily to change
  • Support all company policies and procedures
  • Performs related duties as assigned by the IT Director or CIO
