Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years of industry experience.
  • Fluent in English and a Canadian Resident. Preference given for Saskatchewan Residents.
  • Degree in Electrical, Process, or Computer Science/Application Engineering; or Instrumentation Technologist Diploma; or Electrical Technologist Diploma;
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Schneider Electric software such as EcoStruxture Control Expert, Foxboro or System Platform (WonderWare). Additional knowledge in platforms such as Ignition, Geo SCADA, VT SCADA, Rockwell Products such as Factory Talk, Studio 5000, RsLogix 5000 and various communication protocols would be an asset.
  • Experience the minimum of 3 major projects in PLC or DCS system design, commissioning, startup.
  • Experienced in collaborating and interacting with customers.
  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Lead execution on high-quality, efficient programming projects, collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional solutions to our customers.
  • Architect and design innovative automation systems for proposals and quotes.
  • Maintain and enhance customer control systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Identify customers needs, build cost estimates and quotations.
  • Contribute to JPI's knowledge base write procedures, test documents, and informative articles for our internal wiki.
  • Continuously advance through paid and free training opportunities provided by JPI Solutions.
  • Help JPI advance into Digital Transformation, Industry4.0, and IIoT in energy, mining, petrochemical, and manufacturing.
