Job description

The Opportunity

As a Machine Learning Engineering Professional within the Advanced Analytics team, you will play a key role in building, deploying and maintaining ML products that enhance our customer experience and drive measurable business value. We understand that ongoing monitoring and maintenance are crucial for sustained impact, and you'll play a vital role in ensuring we sustain the value of our products to the organization and to our customers. 

What to Expect 

  • Leverage your strong technical expertise to operationalize ML products (batch or real-time) in collaboration with Data Scientists within our team, our business stakeholders and other technical teams, ensuring seamless integration into production environments. 
  • Develop and deploy code using cloud-native technologies, considering performance, maintainability and testability.  
  • Champion ML best practices throughout the ML lifecycle, including model serving and monitoring. 
  • Bring new ideas to contribute to innovation and process improvement. 

What You Bring

  • University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline. 
  • 4+ years of industry experience in building and productionizing ML pipelines with cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and serverless alternatives. Includes leveraging continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows. 
  • Strong understanding of ML best practices for model deployment, serving, and monitoring. 
  • Strong communicator, both to business and technical audiences. 
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an asset. 
     

Salary Range: $94,800-$158,000

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
