The Laboratory Maintenance Branch provides the nation's premier federal aviation laboratory for advancing the United States National Airspace System (NAS) and sustaining its continued safe and efficient operations.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer scienceorbachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.

To qualify for this position at the FV-H levelyou must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G, FG/GS 5-9. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.

Specialized Experience is: Experience performing analysis, trouble shooting, system maintenance of hardware and/or software associated with National Airspace System Air Traffic Control systems.

To qualify for this position at the FV-I levelyou must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS 10-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.

Specialized Experience is: Experience with defining, planning, and organizing data analysis, complex trouble shooting, repair and configurations of hardware and/or software associated with National Airspace System Air Traffic Control systems.
