The Role and Impact
Are you passionate about shaping the future of technology and software innovation? As a Software Enabling and Optimization Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving Intel's value and differentiation across enterprise, cloud, client,, AI, gaming, graphics and analytics. Your contributions will directly influence the adoption and optimization of Intel's cutting-edge products, enabling customers to push the boundaries of what's possible with technology. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Intel customers, ecosystem software vendors, and the open-source community to develop, integrate, test, tune, debug, and optimize software solutions.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing expertise in domains such as AI, client and possibly cloud computing to demonstrate the value of Intel's software and hardware technologies.
- Research, develop, and prototype software solutions that leverage Intel's product capabilities and drive adoption across diverse markets and use cases.
- Evangelize Intel's software tools, technologies, and methodologies to the technical ecosystem, ensuring solutions are scalable and impactful.
- Lead pre-enabling and product development efforts to launch future Intel products, providing technical customer support and ensuring readiness for production.
- Develop technical collateral, training materials, and benchmarking tools to highlight Intel's competitive advantages.
- Identify key workloads and drive their integration into product requirements to inform future Intel product design and enhancements.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in software development or optimization with a Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in software development, debugging, and optimization techniques, with demonstrated experience in one or more programming languages.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and system-level software development.
- Hands-on experience with software validation, modeling, prototyping, and proof-of-concept design.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience with a Master's degree, or 8 years with a PhD.
- Familiarity with market segments such as AI and client computing, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Previous experience in customer engagement, consulting, and technical support roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of addressing complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional and customer-facing environments.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $255,850.00-361,200.00 USD
