Job description

Job Title: Laboratory Worker for Computer Science Program 

Number of Positions:

Department: School of Mathematics and Computer Science 

Job Location: Hathaway Hall and Shauntee Hall 

Supervisor/Timekeeper: Dr. Clifton Ray Wise 

Supervisor Contact: (502)-597-6698 

Hours per Week (Max 20): 10-20 hrs./week


Duties and Responsibilities: The lab worker will assist faculty and staff with laboratory operations, including preparing materials and equipment for experiments, helping conduct laboratory experiments, collecting and organizing data, assisting with basic data analysis, maintaining accurate records, cleaning and organizing laboratory spaces, ensuring equipment is stored properly, following laboratory safety procedures, and providing general support for research and instructional laboratory activities

Qualification and Requirements: Computer Science major with an interest in laboratory work, ability to follow safety procedures, attention to detail, and willingness to assist with experiments, analysis, and laboratory maintenance.
