Job Summary
Dalton State College invites applications for a full-time, 10-month faculty position in Information Technology, beginning August 1, 2026. Depending on experience and qualifications, the appointment will be made at either the tenure-track Assistant Professor or Lecturer level.

Dalton State seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about teaching information technology to a diverse student body in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence, or potential for excellence, in:

Teaching responsibilities are 27 credit hours per academic year. Courses may include areas such as:
• Networking and Systems Administration

Teaching assignments may occur during the day, evening, online, hybrid, or at off-campus locations.

  5. Transcripts of all college work. Unofficial transcripts will suffice for initial screening; however, official transcripts will be required upon employment.

Minimum Starting Salary:
  • $60,500 with a doctorate in a tenure track position; $49,500 for Lecturer.
  • Salary commensurate with education level and experience.
  • Individuals with a masters degree as the highest level of education will have a 10% decrease in starting pay in a tenure track position.
