Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an Advanced Quality Assurance Analyst to assist the Office of Information Technology with infrastructure support for system remediations related to financial and accounting data integrations. The role involves testing, validating, and ensuring quality assurance for various computing assets, including interfaces, enterprise applications, databases, automated processes, and reporting programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement various testing strategies (regression, functional, data validation, system integration, performance, etc.)
  • Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure software quality.
  • Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, test results, and test status.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and integrate testing strategies.
  • Automate test cases and execute testing with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Document and analyze test results, recommend corrective actions, and manage defects.
  • Support user acceptance testing and apply automated testing approaches.
  • Research and implement new testing technologies and best practices.
  • Deliver quality process training and act as an internal quality consultant.
  • Monitor, track, and report defects efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or 2 years of experience in lieu of education).
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
    • Experience in a DevOps environment is highly desired.
    • Testing ETL jobs (e.g., Informatica) is highly preferred.
    • At least 3 years of experience developing and executing test processes for complex systems.
    • Minimum of 3 years in a management, supervisory, or team lead role.
    • 2-3 years of experience with Enterprise Architecture.
    • Knowledge of Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration tools and Snowflake is a plus.
