Position Summary
This role is for a physician who wants to practice through providing compassionate, patient centered care. Patients are seen in the office and hospital rounding is required.
  • Maintenance of timely, accurate and detailed medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW), the Medical Center's office based EMR is required.
  • Prescribes medication or therapy when necessary.
  • Recommends lifestyle changes as appropriate to improve quality of life.
  • Explains all medical procedures thoroughly.
  • Explains test results and provide patients with plan of care details.
  • Consults with other doctors as appropriate about patient's specific needs.
  • Participates in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics.
  • Serves on hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requested.
  • Seeks to improve patient satisfaction scores and team member goals.
  • Participates in business development and marketing activities to grow the business.
  • Understanding of physician practice environment
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

These threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis. Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation, TB/PPD Surveillance Program and Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
