Allied Universal® is hiring a Global Security Protective Programs Specialist. The Global Security Protective Programs Specialist will work alongside each team within the Protective Programs areas of responsibility, including Executive Protection (EP), Special Event security support, Travel Safety, Situational Awareness training, Threat Management/Workplace violence and Regional Security/EMEAP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Travel and Itinerary Information Management: Document/track secure transportation arrangements for executive protection/special event support to include commercial air travel, corporate aviation flights, vehicle rentals and hotel security support; coordinate with Regional Security teams overseas as needed
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain personnel records and process security/badge access clearances; coordinate cost tracking and expense reporting for Protective Programs teams, ensuring compliance with internal/external regulations; manage the collection of documentation prior to it being to be passed to Senior Managers on the team; review and track information such as monthly metrics, budget tracking, expenses; evaluate accuracy of documentation and resulting metrics, edit documentation and reports when inaccuracies are found; manage the input of intelligence information, budgetary data, and case date for further analysis; compile and approve initial reports; apply security designation on reports (designating sensitivity level of information or threat/risk level)
  • Technology and Tools: Utilize tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for scheduling and documentation, often requiring proficiency in data base management and client software programs including Lenel, Avigilon, and Ethicspoint/Navex Database; leverage these tools to create presentations on behalf of Protective Programs teams to provide expertise guidance to leadership teams
  • Employee Intelligence Reports: Produce background reports on individuals for internal investigations and compliance using open-source data, social media platforms, open-source government databases and investigative databases
  • Protective Programs Methodology: Assist team managers by providing event/site data analysis and protective methodology proposals in support of EP assignments and Special Event Missions; provide expert advice to customer regarding physical security services available (considering location, threat level, required employee qualifications); negotiate billing rates for special services; determine most efficient level of service needed to assist in assuring the safety of customer's employees and assets

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, forensics, computer science, cyber security, or related degree
    • Associate's degree in criminal justice, forensics, computer science, cyber security, or related degree with a minimum of three (5) years of relevant experience in protective intelligence, threat analysis, military intelligence, law enforcement, or corporate security environments
    • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in protective intelligence, threat analysis, military intelligence, law enforcement, or corporate security environments
  • Professional or educational experience demonstrating each of the following:
    • Ability to analyze information relating to protective operations, internal investigations, and background investigations
    • Ability to compile reports based on information gathered for protective operations, internal investigations, and background investigations
    • Ability to oversee the arrangement of travel events to include flights/rental cars and lodging; maintaining an ongoing tabulation of those expenses
  • Discretion and Proprietary Information Management: Ability to demonstrate utmost ethical standards in handling sensitive, private information
  • Operational Security (OPSEC): Demonstrated understanding of the need for secure, discreet communication; proven ability to assess complex threat environments and provide clear, actionable recommendations
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.), Word, and PowerPoint (presentations)
  • Oral and Written Communications: Ability to formulate and communicate oral and written information effectively to both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple projects under both common and crisis situations in a clear and efficient manner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
  • Experience interviewing individuals in a workplace environment.
  • Writing reports that would be used in future workplace disciplinary actions or used for enhanced personal security reviews.
  • Ability to present and communicate information effectively
  • One (1) or more years of experience in business intelligence, security analytics, or risk assessment
