Job description

Position Purpose

Teach lecture and laboratory courses in Computer Science program which includes the topics: Intro to computer science, C++ Object oriented programming, Computer organization, data structures & algorithms, computer architecture, database fundamentals, data science, machine learning, computer networks and other related courses within Computer Science program.

Major Responsibilities/Duties/Functions

  • Teach Computer Science lecture and laboratory courses in topics as described above
  • Prepare lecture materials and lab work as described in Vaughn College catalog
  • Ability to perform course assessment as required

**Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of a MS degree in Computer Science, Ph.D. candidate preferred

Compensation:

  • The compensation rate for this position is expected to be:
    • $900 per lecture hour ($925 per lecture hour if holding a PhD)
    • $625 per lab hour.
