Senior Software Engineer, Android

San Mateo, CA

As a Senior Software Engineer, you have hands-on technical expertise, ingenuity, and excellent communication skills. You will use your deep understanding of Android native development, system internals, and telemetry frameworks to help pave the way for future innovation on our platforms.

You will contribute to critical infrastructure systems for our mobile applications, including telemetry and logging solutions, before transitioning to UI implementation for our next-generation cross-platform mobile application, applying industry standard best practices to deliver fluid, performant experiences with maximum extensibility.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement comprehensive telemetry, logging, and diagnostic systems for mobile applications, ensuring robust monitoring and analytics capabilities.

Build and integrate frameworks to streamline development across mobile and console teams, enhancing efficiency and collaboration.

Development of mobile applications using Agile methodologies like Scrum, delivering iterative improvements and meeting project milestones.

Develop and maintain high-quality applications using both Android native technologies and React Native, ensuring they are production-ready and meet performance standards.

Implement reusable components and infrastructure, focusing on scalability and maintainability. Apply architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, and MVP.
