Job description

  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • Gains supervised practical experience by actively participating in one or more projects for Samaritan Health Services while fulfilling the requirements of assigned internship program.
  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    • Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology at Samaritan Health Services. The IS Infrastructure department provides a robust, agile and secure IT Infrastructure that supports SHS business objectives. The infrastructure includes, but is not limited to the following services: data network, voice, Windows and Linux server, data center, centralized endpoint management, enterprise operations and automation.
  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Experience or training in the following required:
      • Microsoft Office, Visio, SharePoint and Wiki.
      • Showing attention to detail and document systems.
      • Phone and in-person communication skills.
      • Working successfully in a team environment.
    • Analyst Team (if applicable):
      • Current enrollment or recent graduate in a Bachelor's degree program related to area of internship required.
      • Experience or training in system troubleshooting and business analysis required.
    • Technical Team (if applicable):
      • Current enrollment or recent graduate in an Associate degree program related to information systems required.
      • Experience or training in Windows and hardware troubleshooting required.
