Job description

Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data & Reporting Analyst Intern to support data integrity initiatives, reporting optimization, and digital tool development. This role will focus on improving data quality, building dashboards, and creating scalable tools to enhance team visibility and performance tracking.
This is a full-time role through the summer, transitioning to part-time beginning in the fall semester through the end of 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong academic foundation in data analysis, data management, or systems thinking
  • Experience working with structured datasets, reporting, or data cleanup initiatives (academic or professional)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data validation)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI (preferred)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, or tracking tools is preferred
  • Basic understanding of database concepts, data integrity, and data governance principles

Qualifications
- Data Cleanup and Integrity Work: Comprehensive data integrity and historical consistency audit of historical datasets, preparation of dataset for migration into new database.
- Optimize and realign team reporting and metrics, dashboard creation.
- Creation of SharePoint site and supporting materials.
- Development of new project tracker(s).
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's (in progress): Business Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering Systems, or Computer Science.
SKILLS / TOOLS:
- Strong data & analytical skills
- Excel (advanced preferred)
- Power BI (preferred)
- Power Apps / Automate (preferred)
- Data structuring & modeling mindset
- Detail-oriented, self-driven
ROLE STRUCTURE: Full-time through summer, converting to part-time from start of fall semester through end of 2026 calendar year.
