Job description

Under general supervision, designs and implements data management systems for clinical information. Develops methods for tracking and reporting data. Collects, enters and statistically analyzes data and prepares a variety of special and recurring reports for publication or presentation. Assigns interviewers for data collection, monitors completion of data, handles quality assurance and performs data cleaning. May assist in preparation of figures and tables for scientific manuscripts. Acts in a caring and courteous manner towards all patients, guests, visitors, students and staff.

There is opportunity to develop skills in health services research, poster and oral presentation, and writing manuscripts for those interested in an academic career with dedicated mentoring. This position will work in clinical research analyzing and validating data and creating graphical representations of data. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data validation from redcap registry of ongoing study. 
  • Data analysis from large data sets for abstracts and manuscripts. 
  • Translate data into graphical representations. 
  • Manage Microsoft Access Database. 
  • Run reports from Access. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary range: $43,890 - $50,000 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Public Health, Statistics or a related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
