Job description

Job Summary:
Google is a leading technology company focused on user-centric design and innovation. They are seeking a Staff iOS Creative Technologist to collaborate with UX Engineers, Researchers, and Designers to develop industry-leading products and enhance user experiences through innovative prototypes and design practices.
Responsibilities:
• Test concepts for iteration, research, and validation, conceiving and delivering engaging prototypes across a portfolio of products.
• Identify emerging needs, develop interaction design best practices, and contribute to pattern documentation.
• Lead or contribute to key projects, ensuring a holistic systems-thinking approach and advocating for user needs across platforms and applications.
• Strategize, brainstorm, and define approaches that optimize implementation of the design intent.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in iOS development in Swift, technical UX design, and prototyping.
• Experience with vibe coding tools, including AI Studio, Cursor, Antigravity, Firebase Studio.
• Experience in motion design related to physics, patterns, and visual design elements.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work samples in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in technical leadership and managing projects.
• Experience working with hosted backends (e.g. Firebase, Supabase) to power prototypes.
• Familiarity working across full tech stacks and production environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
