Job Title: Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Graduate - Canada

Location: Calgary, Canada

37.5 - Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Hybridin office minimum 3 days a week.

The job
This is a brilliant opportunity to join the AVEVA R&D graduate program with our Cloud Operations and Infrastructure team.

Key responsibilities
As a Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Graduate, you will:
Be an integral part of Product/Scrum team to understand, define, and test solution requirements in Cloud environments.
Develop applications using cutting edge technologies like .NET Core, Microservices, Node JS, C#, PowerShell, SQL, Analytics and Monitoring which meet functional and non-functional requirements with built-in-quality
Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members such as sprint planning and estimating; backlog refinement; daily Scrum meetings; sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
Author, review, execute, maintain, and test shared applications and/or tools.
Develop, build, customize, deploy, and manage the environment, test suits and test automation frameworks.
Maintain and enhance test automation suites using frameworks and tools .
Be involved on the define, design, build, and test solutions for our Cloud solutions
Performing Quality Assurance Testing on application to ensure they meet project requirements
Be responsible for deploying industrial solutions into AVEVA's cloudfor our customers

Have opportunities to network, collaborate and improve your domain skills such as Cloud Monitoring, logging, Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code
Write/debug automation scripts for tooling and/or shared infrastructure

Essential requirements
Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Engineering graduating by June 2026
Strong analytical skills, Communication, Problem Solving skills.
Knowledge on software development lifecycle.
Software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Desired skills
Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or any other cloud platforms

Hands-on experience working with orchestration technologies, specially Kubernetes is a plus

Preferred coding language of C# or other object-oriented programming languages
Works efficiently and effectively with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Strong desire for driving automated solutions and writing tools and applications designed to streamline operational support and improve developer productivity.
Good Problem Solving and Requirement understanding skills as well as a positive attitude, ability, and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
Organization: You'll be working in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment, so time management and effective prioritization will be essential
Customer focus: You'll be working directly with our customers. Being able to listen to them and understand their requests, and then address them in a proactive and consultative manner, will be part of your day-to-day
Problem-solving: You'll need to enjoy getting stuck into problems. Troubleshooting and solving challenging problems is a big part of this role.
