About the Job
As a Senior Software Engineer supporting Keeper's Business Intelligence team, you will build and maintain full stack applications, backend services and scheduled automation that support reporting, operational workflows and internal business systems. This is a backend-leaning full stack role, with Java as the primary development language. You will work across application services, databases, AWS infrastructure and frontend components as needed to deliver reliable internal solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong Java fundamentals, solid AWS experience and the flexibility to work across the stack.
Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain and improve full stack applications that support BI and internal operational workflows
  • Write production-quality backend code primarily in Java
  • Develop and maintain frontend components for internal applications and business workflows
  • Build and manage cron jobs, scheduled services and other recurring automation processes
  • Design and implement scalable solutions in AWS using services such as Lambda and S3
  • Work with MySQL to support application logic, reporting workflows and internal data access needs
  • Build and maintain REST APIs, backend integrations and services that support business systems
  • Troubleshoot and optimize recurring jobs, backend services, application workflows and process reliability
  • Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Balance multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar platforms to improve coding, debugging, testing, code review and engineering efficiency

Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong Java experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on development
  • Professional experience building backend applications and services
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions in AWS
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda and S3
  • Experience building, managing or supporting Cron jobs and other scheduled backend processes
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and workflows, including AI-powered code generation, debugging, automated testing and code review support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to self-start and prioritize, plan, organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Positive, team-oriented and results-driven mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting BI platforms, internal reporting systems or business operations tooling
  • Experience building applications that support reporting, analytics or data-driven workflows
  • Experience with React or another modern frontend framework
  • Familiarity with additional AWS services used for application development, automation and data processing
  • Experience working in fast-paced SaaS or cybersecurity environments
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent discipline
