Our more than 6,000 employees are proud to work at our state-of-the-art sawmills and other facilities, including: manufacturing, custom wood-framed windows, fabrication, millwork, veneer, cogeneration, trucking, forestry, and other operations.
Currently, we are seeking a qualified Computer Engineer to work collaboratively with our fabrication shop in Anderson, California . This position is not remote and will require living in the commutable Anderson area.
About the Position
  • Work closely with control and automation engineers to take concepts and turn them into solutions for our production environment requirements
  • Writing high performance C++ algorithms
  • Interface with industry's latest sensor technologies
  • Build user interfaces, improving user experience
  • Conceptualize new software and hardware solutions for our production needs
  • Maintain and improve our existing software codebase
  • Communicate professionally with our end-users

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable degree
  • Proficient in C++, .Net, Python, preferably utilizing Visual Studio
  • Experience preferred with A.I. (Computer Vision), PyTorch, Django, Microsoft WPF
  • Exposure to databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL
  • Solid understanding of college level mathematics (Trigonometry)
