JOB TITLE: Test & Evaluation Engineer 3
LOCATION: Taft, CA
PAY RATE: $74.25/hour

Summary: 

  • Integrates propulsion test execution requirements and resources to conduct pressure testing and clean room operations.

  • Supports development and tracking of performance metrics, tracks trends, and develops action plans.

  • Aids in development of a test execution plan including resource allocation, schedule for equipment and floor space usage, test support requirements, and program milestones.

  • Develops communication plans for status of current test and cleaning activities relative to upcoming test activities.

  • Develops, creates, and maintains test and cleaning documentation for test execution and cleaning requirements.

  • Tracks current and upcoming test phases to status cleaning and testing activities to meet program need dates.

  • Coordinates and collaborates with propulsion test management and engineers daily.

  • Performs propulsion testing in propulsion systems, pressure and fluid systems, and vacuum systems.

  • Performs precision cleaning of hardware.

  • Conducts clean room operations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 7+ years of experience in test laboratory operations.

  • 7+ years of experience performing propulsion testing in propulsion systems, pressure and fluid systems, or vacuum systems.

  • 4+ years of precision cleaning of hardware experience.

  • 4+ years of clean room operations experience.

  • Experience as a lead, supervisor, or manager.

  • Knowledge of propellant and chemical handling or storage requirements.
