About this Position

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

This position will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree in the High Voltage Lineman Program within the School of Engineering & Construction Technologies.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university; master's degree preferred.
  • Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

Experience:

  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • Five years of evidenced industry experience.
  • Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with varied constituencies.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

Licensure/Certification:

  • Valid Oklahoma driver's license.
  • Journeyman license in a directly related field.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to plan, organize and fulfill complex initiatives.
  • Computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of work, initiative, commitment, ethics, professional responsibility and judgment.
