Job Description

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Translates business needs into detail requirement specifications

- Performs configuration analysis for system design.

- Analyzes system problems and modifications.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Knowledge of current business practices and computing systems and databases (SQL Server and MS Access)

-  Proficiency in applying highly technical principals 

- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and research ability as evidenced by experience in the identification of business requirements and subsequent implementation of appropriate software configuration solutions to business problems. 

-  Knowledge of health insurance payor systems and processes preferred.
- Extensive experience with process mapping, group presentation, written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills. 

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to a stringent timeline. 

-  Ability to analyze the functionality of systems and their fit with specifications. 

Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Seven (7) years of experience analyzing, designing, and/or delivering clinical/business solutions
EXPERIENCE OFFSETS
Any of the combined may offset the experience requirement above:
A degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or other business or technology field.
Bachelor's degree = four (4) years
Master's degree = two (2) years
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or business or technology field.
