Description:

The Sales Secretary is responsible for assisting the Sales Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

· Process drawing copies, job strips, and job folders

· Prepare monthly reports and letters

· Prepare itineraries and trip reports

· Maintain all office supplies used in the department

· Answer the switchboard at the 2nd ring over

· Answer the switchboard at first ring while the Receptionist is on break or away

· Work from the front desk while the Receptionist is gone to lunch or absent

Requirements:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Minimum of a two-year degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with additional software applications is a plus.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Basic clerical duties. Previous experience with answering the phone(s), typing/creating documents, and filing is required.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Must possess excellent typing skills, be attentive to detail and well-organized, cooperative and willing to assist others, and have the ability to multitask.
