KHS America is a musical instruments distributor managing more than 20 musical instrument brands. We are dedicated to the enrichment of lives through music performance and education by providing high quality musical instruments and services designed to support musicians, educators and our retail partners.


Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Grow territory sales by collaborating with Business Development Manager and National Sales Manager to develop and execute a strategic growth plan.
  • Work with Business Development Manager to monitor Business Plan for each channel partner. If plan is not working, call upon KHSA resources to assist, and make decisions as necessary
  • Measure sales goals
  • Developing and executing a daily outbound call strategy to generate new sales
  • Identifying order optimization opportunities
  • Establish and nurture effective relationships with customers
  • Work with Operations and Credit personnel to expedite and track orders
  • Maintain an accurate customer database and notes
  • Be accessible via phone or e-mail to resolve any customer issues
  • Provide market data, dealer comments and feedback for appropriate markets
  • Address new dealer inquiries and make decision regarding qualifications
  • Maintain regular job attendance; days of work are Monday-Friday; 8-hr. work schedule

Nonessential functions:

  • Will be required to perform other duties as directed, requested or assigned

  • Work environment: Temperature-controlled office environment. Noise levels vary based on the number of co-workers communicating orally. Occasional visits to the warehouse to check products and parts resulting in a warehouse environment which includes temperature extremes, dust and fumes.



Requirements

  • High school diploma or a state-approved high school equivalency diploma
  • Basic knowledge of the musical instruments offered by KHSA
  • Two years successful work experience

  • Experience using a computer in a work environment

Qualifications desired:

  • Bachelor's degree or some completed college courses
  • Music retail experience
  • Knowledge of computer sales software programs and Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
