About Our Company:

Eagle Eye Produce is a premiere grower shipper with more than 30,000 acres under cultivation. We grow in multiple states in the United States as well as several locations in Mexico. Our focus is to provide our customers with a year-round supply of the products we grow. These items include; several Potato varieties including organics, Onions, Watermelon, and Nogales Vegetables (Tomatoes, Peppers, Squash, Cucumbers). Additionally, we own and operate several state-of-the-art production facilities across the United States. With Sales offices from New York to California, our team of experienced staff is dedicated to meeting our customer’s needs.


Job Summary

Transport Support Specialist are responsible for finding the trucking companies that will physically move our freight. They build and develop carrier relationships and negotiate competitive carrier rates while maintaining company revenue and margin goals. Transport Support Specialist also ensure that freight is picked up, transported and delivered on time to meet and/or exceed our client’s expectations. You will also oversee meetings with existing carriers as a customer service representative to ensure that we are communicating with them and maintaining strong working relationships.

General Responsibilities

  • Source and procure carrier services through negotiation on a spot or transactional basis while meeting individual, team, and company revenue margin goals
  • Prospect and cultivate new carrier leads to establish capacity
  • Contact new carriers to haul freight for our company
  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery of customer freight
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective carriers
  • Meet with existing carriers as follow-up with customer service
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications

  • Strong desire to learn and work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Driven and competitive nature with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in using a Windows-based computer
  • Sales, negotiation or communication experience preferred
  • Logistics experience is a plus
