Wine/Spirits Sales Representative – Job Description
Position Summary
The Wine, Spirits and N/A Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by promoting, marketing, and selling a portfolio of wines/spirits to restaurants, retailers, and hotels. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, educating clients on products, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account ManagementALL Develop and manage a sales territory with regular account visits.
Achieve annual sales goals.
Identify new business opportunities and open new accounts.
Present and recommend wines/spirits based on customer needs, trends, and pricing.
Conduct product tastings, staff trainings, and promotional events.
Customer Service
Build lasting relationships with buyers, managers, and staff.
Provide exceptional customer support, including timely responses to inquiries and issues.
Monitor customer inventory levels and assist with ordering and replenishment.
Product Knowledge & Promotion
Maintain strong knowledge of wine/spirit regions, varietals, vintages, and winemaking/distilling processes.
Stay informed on wine/spirit industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
Communicate promotions, new releases, and marketing materials to customers.
Administrative & Reporting
Creating/building your internal rolodex in Vinosmith
Maintain accurate records of sales, invoices, and customer interactions.
