Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for a highly-experienced, successful and proven Sales Manager to sell Supermicro's broad portfolio of server solutions to large enterprise customers. The Sales Manager will possess the expertise in managing end-to-end sales processes involving complex, multi-portfolio, large deals. The ideal sales manager must have a strong, credible and professionals working relationship with C-Level executives at current and past clients, plus the ability to create similar synergies at new accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop net new customers in targeted verticals and industries as strategized
โ€ข Hunt, qualify and close new opportunities; create target lists for vertical markets
โ€ข Develop relationships, communicate product and market information
โ€ข Monitor inventory, negotiate prices, enter and monitor order start, facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns
โ€ข Develop superior relationships with prospects
โ€ข Consistently achieve leads and quotas
โ€ข Produce reports as necessary
Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferably in high tech industry
โ€ข 5+ years of direct sales experience selling server and storage to enterprise and fortune-1000 companies preferred
โ€ข Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures and geographies
โ€ข Track record of building relationships with senior executives and decision makers
โ€ข Demonstrated ability in the following areas: pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling, call structure and control, time and territory management
โ€ข Experience entering, tracking and reporting data on lead activity
โ€ข Consistent track record of meeting of exceeding sales target
โ€ข Must have Microsoft Excel Knowledge
โ€ข Multi-task and time management skills are a must
โ€ข Proficient in English and additional language is a huge plus
Salary Range
$92,000 - $141,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
