American Leak Detection - Repair Technician

Headquarters: Lititz, PA
Service Location: Southeastern PA

American Leak Detection is the world leader in non-invasive leak detection and our Southeastern PA office has an immediate opening for a Repair Technician with experience in electronic leak detection of plumbing systems and pools, repairs, direct access, and bypasses.
At American Leak Detection your training is included along with excellent benefits and company vehicle.
We use highly advanced equipment and each job will be challenging and different.
This applicant will learn how to locate water leaks, solve water infiltration issues, and perform repairs for both residential and commercial clients.
We are a customer service business and our goal is to provide professional, timely service to every one of our customers.
Our fundamental goal is saving water that is needlessly lost to leaks and our service is in demand.
Our customers include residential, commercial, and industrial clients as well as municipalities and water districts.
We are unique because we prevail where others fail and we need technicians that are up to the challenge.
Job Responsibilities would include:
  • Diagnosing water leak issues and following techniques developed by ALD.
  • Creating professionally written reports to effectively describe the leak issue.
  • Extending courtesy and thoughtfulness to all customers - we are there to solve their problems!
  • Regularly communicating with office staff and Technician Manager.
  • Must be able, on occasion, to work after hours and weekends.
  • Travel is required (includes company-supplied vehicle) Our service area is Southeastern PA.
  • Taking care of our customers, one leak at a time!
  • ALD does repairs around swimming pools, on water service lines, sewer lines as well as other pipes inside/outside homes

Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Has 3-4 years of repair experience. Plumbing, pipeline, restoration, or construction background a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Has excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently.
  • Must be a self-starter, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Must have a mechanical mindset and a proven ability to problem-solve.
  • Thrives when faced with a challenge.
  • Learns quickly and respects the value of our high standards for customer service.
  • Has a high standard of professionalism and character.
  • Has knowledge of basic computer skills.
