Overview

Are you ready to join a team that builds the future of pipeline safety? As a leader in the construction, maintenance, and upgrading of pipelines and facilities, we take pride in delivering specialized, high-quality projects across Canada. We're growing, and we're looking for dedicated Field Quality Control Technicians to join our passionate and experienced team.

What You'll Do:

As a Field Quality Control Technician, you'll be a key player in our pipeline repair operations. You'll ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of our specialized PETROSLEEVE (a TD Williamson Product) installations across Canada, while guiding field crews and interacting daily with client representatives.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Demonstrates a commitment to a safe work environment

  • Overseeing and inspecting PETROSLEEVE (a TD Williamson Product) pipeline repair installations.

  • Provide on site leadership and direction to repair crews

  • Communicating professionally with clients and inspectors

  • Understand pipeline anomalies and failure mechanisms, and their relationships with repairs

  • Monitor and evaluate parameters to ensure that procedure are in compliance with specifications.

  • Interpret accurate and timely field reports based on data collected

  • Supporting other duties are required in a dynamic field environment.

What You Bring:

  • Engineering Technology Diploma. Preference to NAIT/SAIT Mechanical, Materials, or Petroleum Engineering Graduates. Will give consideration to candidates with field experience in pipeline integrity, or oil and gas welding experience (CWB Level 1).

  • Strong technical computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Apple, Google Applications)

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Safety Certifications are an asset: CSTS 09, Frist Aid, H2S, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space

  • Valid class 5 drivers license with GDL restrictions removed - MUST

  • Ability and willingness to:

    • Travel regularly and stay overnight out of town.

    • Work up to 7 days a week depending on project needs

    • Work in varying weather and environmental conditions

    • Lift and carry moderate loads as part of daily tasks

    • Successfully pass and complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
