Device Repair Specialist
Job Description
Device Repair Specialists will be responsible for configuring, repairing, troubleshooting and modifying PCs, tablets, cell phones, and other devices as needed. Device Repair Specialists must be self-starters and have the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and software
  • Ability to function in a self-directed environment
  • Ability to handle clients professionally during all interfaces
  • Research and master all electronic devices in product line with regard to hardware and software configuration, troubleshooting and modifications on all applications
  • Some board-level repair, soldering and / or rebuilding of electronic devices

Knowledge and Experience:
  • AS/AA in electronics, information systems and/or telecommunications or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of one or more operating systems
    • Apple iOS
    • Android OS
  • Strong knowledge of one or more operating systems
    • Windows 7/10
    • Linux
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, challenge-driven individual
