Job description

Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products that help keep people safe. Originally focused on the underground coal mining industry, Matrix has expanded into new industrial markets in the United States and globally.
We are currently seeking an intern with the RMA department for a 2027 Summer Internship. This position will support the functions of the RMA department. They will work with the entire RMA department. They must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. The responsibilities will also include working of different software packages including Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Office. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position. This is a paid internship.
This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Moving finished goods and/or components from manufacturing and warehouse for RMA inventory or processing to customers
  • Assist with inventory Cycle Counts
  • Scanning and attaching supporting documents to Work Orders
  • Building subassemblies for the Repair Techs
  • Assist in maintaining a clean lab work area
  • Building finished goods boxes for products for Shipping and Receiving
  • Assisting in the Shipping and Receiving process, as needed
  • Assisting Repair Techs, as needed

Qualifications & Competencies
