Job description

TheMaintenance Assistantworks within the Maintenance Team and is responsible for performing quick lube services as well as minor mechanical repairs and other duties in an efficient and timely manner. The Maintenance Assistant is expected to be a team player in the Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Quick lube program
  • Minor repairs
  • Tractor detailing, sanitization
  • Decal removal
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly checklists
  • General shop/yard clean up
  • Customer and internal DPF filter cleaning
  • Assistance in the other departments as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid G/Class 5 driver's license
  • Minimum Grade 12 required or enrolled in a High School Apprenticeship Program
  • Must have mechanical aptitude
  • Able to perform manual labour
  • Adaptable and able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking and achieving required deadlines
