Overview:

Bosch Truck Group Inc. (formerly Glover International Trucks Ltd.) is an award winning dealership with nine locations is Alberta and British Columbia. ย For 50 years we have been empowering customers with reliable transportation solutions. We are committed to delivering exceptional quality and service, we aim to be the leading provider of commercial trucks by setting the industry standard for reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction. ย We are looking for a Service Technician / Utility Truck Mechanic to inspect, maintain and repair the boom, aerial and diggers on utility trucks. A CUFC certification is preferred but equivalent experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Technician is responsible for assisting our customers with their fleet maintenance and repairs including the following:

  • Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
  • Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
  • Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
  • Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
  • Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
  • Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.
Qualifications
  • A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
  • CUFC Certification with 3 years experience working on booms, aerials and diggers
  • A desire to challenge yourself, and a willingness to embrace the extensive dealer training opportunities we provide through our dedicated training facility located at our Red Deer location.
  • Pride and professionalism in everything you do.
  • Class 3 Driver's License with Air or โ€œQโ€ Endorsement preferred
  • Experience working on all makes of on highway commercial vehicles
  • Experience and familiarity with computers and computer software
  • CDK (ADP) accounting software experience preferred.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of International and supplier / vendors warranty policies.
