Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000


Position Summary

Jusczak Repair is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Service Manager to service the connection between customers and the shop, responsible for accurately capturing repair needs, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring a smooth workflow from check-in to completion.

The ideal candidate understands the trucking industry, communicates clearly, and can keep jobs organized in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

· Greet customers and drivers professionally in person and over the phone

· Open and manage repair orders (ROs) with accurate customer and vehicle information

· Clearly document customer concerns and relay them to technicians

· Provide estimates for repairs, parts, and labor

· Communicate repair status updates to customers throughout the process

· Coordinate workflow between technicians, parts department, and management

· Review completed work orders for accuracy and completeness

· Process invoices and handle billing/payment transactions

· Maintain organized records of service history and documentation

· Assist with scheduling jobs and managing shop capacity

· Handle warranty claims and vendor communication when needed


Qualifications

· Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and diesel repair

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy shop environment

· Basic computer skills (shop management software experience is preferred)

· Ability to read and understand repair orders, parts, and labor breakdowns

· High school diploma or equivalent


Preferred Skills

· Experience with fleet accounts and commercial customers

· Familiarity with estimating software and parts lookup systems

· Understanding of DOT inspections and compliance


Work Environment

· Works directly with shop operations manager to effectively streamline shop operations

· Participates and seeks out industry focused continued education

· Supports operations in company subsidiaries, as needed

· Frequent interaction with drivers, technicians, office staff, and vendors

· Combination of office and shop floor exposure
