Sr Project Manager

The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

What You'll Be Doing
Leads, actively participates and drives all phases of large scale and complex organizational projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished as outlined by the business plan/objectives and within the prescribed Project Management Process.
  • Responsible for the quality and timeliness of assigned projects and achieving desired results in accordance with business plan goals and objectives.
  • Leads the day-to-day management of projects from the original concept, definition of business requirements and processes through to systems development, testing and implementation.
  • Plays a lead role in the development of PMO strategic plan, execution, policies, models and/or performance measures.
  • Coach and mentor project managers and assist them to solve problems.
  • Works directly with appropriate business units to understand project concepts, objectives, and scope. Designs, documents and analyzes division workflows, business rules, activities, and trends as it relates to current and/or future projects. Solicits information through interviews, meetings, and existing reporting mechanisms. Presents actionable recommendations to management for consideration.
  • Establishes necessary resources required to complete projects.
  • Within the context of the assigned project, responsible for building and sustaining the day-to-day relationships and communications (including project briefings) with stakeholders at various levels of the organization, including executive level, as well as other internal and external resources. Build consultative working relationships with business partners, vendors and management.
  • Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk. Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to manager where required.
  • Document progress in accordance with organizational project management requirements from beginning to end. Document and archive project activities, deliverables, tools and findings for future projects.

  • Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required
    • 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or lending operations required
    • PMP required
    • Six Sigma certification preferred
    • PMO leadership preferred
    • ServiceNow preferred
      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
      • Must have working knowledge and understanding of computer software and applications used to support report development and analysis (e.g. SQL, Crystal Reports, Excel), and presentation software (e.g. Visio, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint).
      • Strong experience in developing business requirements and process workflows.
      • Ability to manage 2 to 3 organizational projects at a time.
      • Experience with Microsoft Visio required.
      • Financial industry experience preferred.
      • Strong quantitative, analytic, and project management skills required.
      • Member/Customer Experience and/or Journey Mapping experience preferred.
      • Prior experience and a solid understanding of Scrum/Agile and traditional project management methodologies and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
