Job Title: CAD Technical Project Manager

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201
Engagement Type: Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAD Technical Project Manager to lead and support the integration and implementation of the NG9-1-1 (Next Generation 911) system for NYPD. This role requires strong expertise in public safety technology projects, CAD systems, and emergency response environments. The ideal candidate will drive project execution, ensure compliance with technical standards, and coordinate across multiple agencies and stakeholders.

Scope of Services / Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integration efforts between NG9-1-1 systems and existing CAD platforms.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Oversee project teams responsible for testing, implementation, and deployment of NG9-1-1 solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements, testing standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Act as a liaison with multiple agencies for project coordination involving Class 1, Class 3, and call handling systems.
  • Manage CAD integration with NG call handling systems and ensure seamless interoperability.
  • Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Provide regular status reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • Support change management, documentation, and governance processes.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience managing Public Safety Technology Projects (medium to large scale).
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience supporting 911 dispatcher training and operations.
  • Proven Project Management experience including planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of CAD systems and emergency response workflows.
  • Experience working with multi-agency environments and mission-critical systems.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
