Salary: $75,000-$90,000

Position Summary:

In support of the Companys primary and single most important objective which isTO GET AND KEEP PROFITABLE CUSTOMERS, this individual is responsible to select and manage vendors and procure materials and services. Successes of the position are measured via the following key indicators:

  • Working safely and meeting all environmental standards of customer, OSHA, and employer
  • Expedite the shipment and receipt of all goods, parts, and supplies to meet the needs of the customer, vendor and the company.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and well organized work area
  • Completing and submitting paperwork efficiently and accurately

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Project Manager on projects including communications, schedule, cost review, departmental liaison (Operations / Engineering / Fabrication), inspections, and review and understanding of customer contracts.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate material usage and project allocation.
  • Manage project information and documentation, including emails, costs/quotes, and schedules.
  • Maintain the SAGE100 computer system: item number creation and maintenance, description accuracy, parts usage, creation of item numbers, and population of work tickets.
  • Oversee and facilitate materials expediting.
  • Obtain and catalog vendor quotes.
  • Provide QA/QC oversight, monitoring, and inspection management.
  • Participate in meetings and special projects as required.
  • Follow other job-related instructions and perform other tasks as requested.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required and 5 years related service
  • Mechanical knowledge / experience helpful including piping and process
  • Good computer skills demonstrate computer competency
  • Excellent communication skillsverbal and written
  • Willingness to occasionally travel / clean license
