Job description

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented CNC Machine Operator who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The purpose of this role is to set up and operate CNC Machinery to assist in producing high quality air movement products.
CNC Machine Operator
Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Operate CNC mills, lathes, and parts washing machine
  • Load and unload raw materials and equipment
  • Keep detailed records for equipment and procedures
  • Perform necessary maintenance and cleaning on equipment
  • Inspect finished product to ensure it meets required specifications
  • Abide by company safety guidelines
  • Stock materials and run parts
  • Ensure specific directions are followed to create products that meets the required specifications

Job Requirements:
  • CNC Machine operating experience (mill and lathe)
  • HAAS expereince is a plus
  • Sheetmetal fabrication (beneficial)
  • Working with hand tools & machine tools
  • The ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software
  • Ability to stand on concrete for entirety of shift
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop and walk the production floor
  • Ability to pick up and move products
  • Heavy lifting (50lbs. To 70lbs.)
  • Flexibility to work overtime as requested
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to focus on relevant work for entirety of shift
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
