Job description

The Mixed-Signal Design Engineer Intern will support the design and development of mixed-signal integrated circuits. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world IC design projects and the opportunity to participate across multiple phases of the design cycle in a collaborative engineering environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of mixed-signal IC development, including specification definition, circuit design, silicon bring-up, and validation.
  • Perform detailed circuit analysis, design, simulation, and verification of mixed-signal and mixed-mode circuits.
  • Support layout review, post-layout verification, and design-for-test activities.
  • Assist with laboratory evaluation and characterization of silicon using industry-standard test equipment.
  • Document design results and clearly communicate findings to the broader design team.

Position Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering (or actively pursuing one of these degrees).
  • Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit fundamentals.
  • Experience with IC design CAD tools for schematic capture and simulation.
  • Hands-on lab experience with equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
