About the role:
We are seeking a Programmer Analyst III to design, develop, and support complex technology solutions that meet Capital Health Plan's business and operational needs. This role is responsible for analyzing requirements, developing applications, and maintaining systems that support enterprise-wide functionality.
The Programmer Analyst III works closely with product stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This position plays a key role in application architecture, system integration, troubleshooting, and ongoing system performance, while ensuring adherence to enterprise development standards and best practices.
We're looking for someone who has:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of five years of related programming or systems analysis experience preferred
  • Strong experience designing and developing applications, including user interface, middleware, and system architecture components
  • Ability to analyze complex business and technical problems and develop effective automated solutions
  • Experience documenting system requirements, workflows, data structures, and technical processes
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve software and system issues
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain coding standards and documentation

Highly preferred candidates also have:
  • Experience working with enterprise applications or healthcare technology systems
  • Experience with system integration and interface development
  • Experience participating in architecture design and enterprise application standardization
  • Strong experience with performance monitoring, debugging, and optimization
