We are seeking a talented Drafter to join our team, focusing on electrical drafting using AutoCAD for new substation projects, upgraded substations, or maintenance tasks with substations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD for electrical drafting tasks.
• Work on new substation projects, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project specifications are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
• Participate in the design process and make efforts to grow beyond CAD work.

• Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD.
• 0 to 5 years of drafting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to ask questions and be a proactive learner.
• Computer and technology savvy.

• Experience in consulting or utility industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of other design software such as MicroStation or Inventor is beneficial.
• Desire to learn and understand the reasoning behind design decisions.

This role is based in a professional engineering office, providing a collaborative and innovative environment where you can grow your skills and knowledge.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
