Job description

A company that designs and manufactures high-precision liquid metering and dispensing systems is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis to work onsite at their headquarters in North Springfield, VT.
They are ideally looking for someone that has worked in the medical, robotics, or industrial field and hasproduct development experience, designed embedded hardware and software, level 2, 3 or 4 experience and has experience with motion control. 
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficient in electronic design fundamentals (analog circuits, digital logic, signal integrity, sensors, motor control, power).
  • Proficient with Electronic CAD tools; especially Siemens PADs and/or KiCAD.
  • Ability to generate complex schematics, wiring diagrams, and design documentation, and test plans.
  • Ability to either design PCBs and relevant documentation or provide engineering guidance to a PCB designer.
  • Experience with electronic specifications of basic communication protocols such as: RS232, I2C, SPI. Familiarity with electronic specifications of more advanced communication protocols such as: CAN, USB, Ethernet, HTTP, FTP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, OPC-UA.
  • Familiarity with using software (e.g., Python, Visual Basic, C#, etc.) to automate testing of embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with embedded software and able to contribute to design reviews of embedded systems.
  • Ability to work with embedded software engineers to choose proper control architecture and components of embedded systems.
