Altera is looking for talented, highly motivated undergraduate students to develop FPGA solutions in next-generation Ethernet IP. As an FPGA Software Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for applying mathematical, software, and design engineering skills to design and develop IPs and solutions.

You will work in a rapid learning environment alongside industry experts who will support your daily development and knowledge growth. You will learn an Agile engineering development approach, frequently delivering high-quality solutions to customers and communicating with your team daily to build innovative and creative products. The actual salary offered may vary based on several factors, including the position's location, as well as the candidate's experience, skills, training, and job-specific knowledge. The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar with 3+ months of experience or coursework in one or more of the following:

  • Digital design skills (e.g., FPGA or ASIC), using Verilog/VHDL and related design flows

  • Software skills (e.g., C/C++)

  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, TCL)
