SmartTalent is currently hiring for Forklift Operators for our client, located in Sumner, WA. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, learning new processes, and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
LOCATION: Sumner, WA
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm + OT when necessary
PAY: $20 - $21 DOE

ABOUT THE JOB:
The Stock Picker is responsible for operating a cherry picker/stock picker to accurately select, packing, and preparing customer orders within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
JOB DUTIES:
Operate a forklift, specifically a cherry picker/stock picker
Pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners or warehouse systems
Accurately locate products within the warehouse using pick lists or RF devices
Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and packaging
Verify product quality and quantities before shipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Meet productivity and performance targets
Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Basic computer or scanner experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Follow safety procedures and use required PPE
QUALIFICATIONS:
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
