Reach Truck Operator

Join the team at a great company as a Reach Truck operator in Charlotte NC. As a Reach Truck Operator you are a vital part of the process in an ever-changing warehouse environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and comprehend order information and work instructions
  • Operate lift equipment safely and efficiently while performing the needed tasks of a distribution facility
  • Perform equipment inspections to ensure that equipment is safe to operate
  • Use RF devices to perform receiving, putaway, inventory, picking, and shipping functions.
  • Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds Frequent bending, stooping

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Must be experienced as a Reach Truck operator and be able to demonstrate proficiency in operating a Reach Truck.
  • Must be certified previously.
  • Forklift or other lift equipment experience
  • High School or GED diploma required
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills required
  • Must possess basic math and basic computer skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to perform work per instructions and within a reasonable time.
  • Knowledge of all distribution center functions: pick, pack, receive, and ship product
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
